Bernard Naftali Halpern was a Russian-born French immunologist and pharmacologist.
From 1942 he worked again at Rhone Poulenc in Lyon,
where he developed the first antihistamine that was used therapeutically during the war (Antergan, Phenbenzamine, Phénergan)
