Johann Georg Adam Forster was a German naturalist, ethnologist, travel writer, journalist, and revolutionary.
At an early age, he accompanied his father, Johann Reinhold Forster, on several scientific expeditions,
including James Cook's second voyage to the Pacific (1772–75).
